Top 5 Photo and Video Apps on iOS in Europe Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on iOS in Europe showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube from Google demonstrated a strong revenue performance, peaking at approximately $10M in late February. Weekly downloads decreased steadily from 495K to around 247K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 153M and ending the quarter at 150M.

Snapchat by Snap, Inc. saw a peak in revenue reaching $2.9M in late February. Downloads showed a declining trend from 320K to 226K over the quarter, while active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter with around 46M.

CapCut - Video Editor by Bytedance Pte. Ltd experienced a consistent revenue increase, peaking at $1.9M mid-February. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 883K at the start and closing the quarter with 510K. Active users showed slight growth from 24M to 21M.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor from FaceApp Technology Limited saw weekly revenue peak at $1.5M in late February. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 90K, while active users increased from 1.5M to 1.4M throughout the quarter.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor by Canva experienced a revenue peak of $1.5M in late February. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 310K weekly. Active users increased from 5.1M to 5.5M by the end of March.
